Personal Statement:
When was the last time you felt heard and listened to? Do you have the feeling of being overwhelmed? Do you feel like you've lost control of a situation or issue in your own life? Or, do you just need someone to talk to? Everyone faces some or all of these problems in life, but not everyone deals with them in a healthy way. If you are looking to change this I would be happy to help. In my practice I focus on helping you onto the path of healing that is best for you, as defined by your goals.
I have had the privilege and honor to work with clients, who have faced the toughest challenges of their lives including the loss of loved ones, alcohol and substance addictions, social and general anxiety, or the oldest question in counseling "what am I doing here?"
The most important person in the office is you, we only move forward as the therapeutic relationship permits. I believe it is important for you to pick the counselor who works best for you. If you feel as though I fit that criteria for you please feel free to reach out to me at any time and we will create a path for your success.

Personal Statement:
Every day, I interact with people who are brokenhearted, grieving, and/or anxiously waiting to be seen for who they are. Suppose you are looking for an environment to work through these or similarly complex spaces and would like to improve the quality of life for yourself or those you love. As a counselor, I know vulnerability can be scary because of the possibility of being hurt while hoping for better. As a human, I am passionate about providing safe spaces filled with care, compassion, and collaboration.
After the privilege of serving clients in psychiatric residential treatment, intensive in-home services, school-based mental health, and early childhood development, I have become skilled in multiple evidence-based interventions and am ready to work alongside clients in determining what works best for them. Whether it’s a child who needs to utilize their language of play to discover self-regulation skills or an adult looking to improve boundaries, communication, or assertiveness, I strive to provide an empathetic heart, a nurturing atmosphere, a stance of nonjudgment, and, above all, a chance to utilize your strengths toward what you define as success. Should this sound like a promising partnership, please don’t hesitate to reach out. I have afternoon and evening hours available for you and yours!
